People with type II diabetes are four times more likely to
develop cardiovascular disease due to:

1.Obesity

2.Physical inactivity

3. HTN- patients with both HTN and DMII double their risk of
                        developing cardiovascular disease

4. Dyslipidemia- high LDL, low HDL, high Triglyceridemia

3.Heredity (including race)

 1. Tobacco Smoke

 2. High Cholesterol

 3. HTN (Hypertension/High Blood Pressure)
